Dear Dr. Crofts and Staff,
How can I ever begin to thank you enough for something that has literally changed my life! There are not words to express my gratitude or my happiness!
I didn't necessarily think I was unhappy over the last 20 years, but I am slowly realizing that over that time a part of me was dying. I have spent the last 20 years trying to "hide out" from the rest of the world.
My wardrobe consisted of large t-shirts and loose sweatpants. I wore a lot of black and dark brown to try and hide my shape. Because of the large flap of skin that I carried everywhere with me, it was hard for me to participate in activities with family and friends. Even exercising with other people was hard for me. I'm not the kind of person who has ever really cared about what anyone else thought of me, but I did realize that I'm the kind of person who cares a lot about what I think of myself. I don't know if that even makes sense, but I didn't really like the person that I had become. Much more than the physical aspect of this procedure is the emotional aspect that you have also healed.

I am finally free to be me again! I can be funny, and not feel like I'm the "fat girl" in the room trying to cover up her insecurities. I can wear cute, funky, and stylish clothing. I can wear colors, patterns, and bright designs. I can join in and participate in activities without feeling that I might embarrass myself. I know it sounds somewhat superficial, but those things we wear and the activities we participate in are a huge part of who we are. I feel like the real me has been in a cage for the last 20 years, and has finally been set free!
Deciding to have a tummy tuck was right up there with some of the other great decisions I have made in life. I mean big decisions, like getting married and having children. I am so, so glad that I decided to have the procedure done. I wish that I had had the courage to do it for myself 10 years ago. I can't get back those past 10 years of hiding away from the world, but I am immensely excited for the next 30 or so ahead!
From the moment that I walked into your office, I felt that I was among friends. All your staff are wonderful, kind, and accommodating. From the first meeting with you and your staff, I knew that you were the one I would choose for my procedure. I felt that you all took the time to get to know me and address my concerns. All my questions were answered and I felt completely at ease. Meeting with someone for the first time and having to show them your greatest physical flaw is a huge and scary thing! You all handled it with grace and understanding and allowed me to keep my dignity in the process. From you, Dr. Crofts, I felt someone who loves what he does, and takes pride in his work. You took the time to address the emotional issues as well.

I had had a previous consultation with another plastic surgeon that had been recommended to me. I had already scheduled a surgery date and made a down payment. I'm so grateful that I took the time for another consult! Meeting with you made making the decision to have my procedure so much easier. It should tell others something that I was willing to lose my down payment as well as cancel all the previous plans, to have you do my surgery.
You have a wonderful staff! I can't thank your nurses enough for their kindness and concern during the whole procedure....including appointments both before and after the surgery. They have taken the time to truly address and explain everything along the way. Knowing that I could call them at any time was a great relief.
Having the procedure was one of the best decisions I have ever made! You truly have set me free; to be me again! You can and should take great pride in your profession and the business that you have built. Plastic surgery sometimes gets a "bad rap" but you have, as previously stated, healed me physically, mentally, and emotionally. I will be forever grateful for all that you have done for me!

I just wanted to say thank you for the great experience of going through such a major life transformation. After 5 kids, PCOS, and hormonal weight gain, I felt pretty hopeless about ever feeling good about my body again. Diets, exercise, and everything in between just weren't giving me great results.
I was really nervous about a surgical option, but after meeting you and your staff I felt very peaceful about my decision. I felt like I was in good hands. Two months out and I can't say enough how happy I am and how good I feel. I feel so much more like myself and not lost in a body I don't recognize.
