Body Stacking Treatments

What do we mean when we say body stacking treatments? Well, body stacking treatments is when more than one procedure is performed during the same surgery day or within a short span of time. There are many benefits to combining procedures and we are going to dive into that, as well as some of our favorite pairs of procedures to stack.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF STACKING BODY TREATMENTS?

Financial benefits

Yes, you heard it right. You can save money on your procedures when you choose to stack them. You can save on operating room and anesthesia fees when your surgeries are done in one day. Dr. Crofts offers his patients discounts when they choose to stack their surgical procedures. Call us at 801-785-8825 to learn mo re or to schedule a consultation with Dr. Crofts today.

Fewer overall days of recovery

When stacking procedures, you will benefit from having a single recovery time for multiple procedures rather than recovery periods multiple times. This allows you to get back to your normal day to day life by combining procedures and recovery into one. Patients who stack treatments go through the pain and discomfort once instead of multiple times.

Target multiple areas of concern

If you’re concerned about multiple areas of your body, body stacking treatments may be the better option for you. Think of a mommy makeover where women can get their breast lift, augmentation, and tummy tuck all in one day. This also creates quicker, beautiful results for a true body makeover.

CAN YOU COMBINE SURGICAL AND NON-SURGICAL TREATMENTS?

Yes, but not at the same time! Many of Dr. Crofts’ surgical patients will start their medical-weight loss journey at Aesthetica Medical Spa, then remove excess skin surgically. Other patients may want to reduce surgical scar appearance with laser treatments at Aesthetica Medical Spa, so combining non-surgical lasers and surgery is ideal for most patients once they’ve undergone plastic surgery with Dr. Crofts. Other patients may simply want smooth, hairless skin and choose to start laser hair removal before or after their surgical stacking treatments.

Talk to Dr. Crofts during your consultation to see what non-surgical treatments he recommends to enhance your surgical results.

IS SURGICAL BODY TREATMENT STACKING THE SAME AS A MOMMY MAKEOVER?

Although a mommy makeover is stacking different surgical procedures, as the word implies, mommy makeovers are meant for women. Mommy makeover surgeries traditionally only consist of some sort of abdominal surgery and breast surgery. However, body treatment stacking can be for anyone, including men, and can include a plethora of surgical and non-surgical procedures to achieve patients goals.

WHAT PROCEDURES CAN BE COMBINED WHEN STACKING SURGERIES?

  • Breast lift and breast augmentation: stacking a breast lift and a breast augmentation is an ideal combined procedure for patients who want to achieve perkier, enhanced breasts. A breast lift fixes the position of the nipple and removes sagging tissue, while a breast augmentation adds volume, creating fuller, more youthful breasts.
  • Any breast procedure(s) and liposuction: this combination of procedures can address breast shape and size, along with addressing areas of stubborn fat in the body.
  • Any breast procedure(s) and tummy tuck: most mommy makeovers are a combination of a breast procedure(s) and a tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty. This combination of procedures can address breast shape and size, as well as removing excess tissue and skin from the abdominal area while tightening core.
  • Tummy tuck and liposuction: a tummy tuck and liposuction is what most patients opt for when addressing their abdominal, leg, and/or love handle area. Liposuction removes excess fat and contours the legs and/or love handle area, while a tummy tuck removes excess tissue, excess fat, and tightens the abdomen muscles for a beautiful, natural-looking contoured abdomen.
  • Labiaplasty and any breast procedure: a labiaplasty addresses enlarged labias and this can be combined with any breast procedure. Learn more about labiaplasty here.
  • Liposuction and Renuvion: combining liposuction and Renuvion is great for patients who have stubborn fat pockets that they can’t get rid of with diet and exercising alone. This combination will remove stubborn fat cells, while tightening tissue for beautiful, natural results. Learn about Renuvion and the technology here.
  • Renuvion and labiaplasty: Renuvion and labiaplasty surgery can be combined into the same surgery.
  • Male abdominoplasty and liposuction: plastic surgery is for everyone who wants to enhance what they already have, so of course Dr. Crofts performs male abdominoplasty and liposuction. This combination of procedures contours the body and removes sagging skin and unwanted fat. Click here to view male abdominoplasty before and after photos.
  • Male abdominoplasty and Renuvion: this combination contours your abdomen, removes sagging tissue and fat, as well as tightens tissue.

When it comes to body stacking treatment procedures, patients can, and typically do, combine two or more surgeries. Overall, body stacking treatments are more convenient for the patient and allow you to save time and money while giving you a quicker transformation. There are limitations to stacking procedures safely. Dr. Crofts will evaluate you during the physical exam as well as review your health history to determine what can safely be done in one surgical setting. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Crofts today to determine the stacking procedures that are recommended to reach your goals.
