What Is VASERlipo?
The VASERlipo® system utilizes highly refined ultrasound waves to liquify fatty tissue cells. During the procedure, tumescent fluid is injected into the treatment area, allowing the ultrasound's high-frequency vibrations to break down fat cells. Tiny probes are then used to further disintegrate the unwanted fat, which is subsequently removed with a cannula through a small incision. During your consultation, Dr. Crofts will do a physical exam, go over any questions you may have and establish if VASER liposuction is the right treatment option for you. He will discuss the specific details of VASER liposuction and create a treatment plan. Following the consultation, our team will provide you with a quote and assist you in scheduling your surgery.
Your pre operative appointment will be scheduled three weeks before your VASER liposuction procedure. During this appointment, we will go over any last-minute questions or concerns that you may have, review pre- and post-surgery instructions, and have you sign the surgical consent forms. You will also be given a pre surgery goodie bag.
VASER liposuction surgical times usually range from 1-2 hours but vary depending on the number of areas that will be treated. Typically, VASER liposuction is performed using general anesthesia.
VASER liposuction is a same day surgery which means you will return home following a short period of observation. You should refrain from strenuous activity for 3 weeks. You will be in a compression garment for 6-8 weeks. Most patients can return to sedentary work within a few days.
Many patients may begin to notice results after a few weeks; however, it could take between 6-9 months to see the full results.

Body liposuction - I went all around utah and salt lake county for liposuction consultations. Dr.Croft and his staff was by far the most professional but very very friendly and helpful. Dr.Croft answered all of my questions and was very honest. After my procedure the staff was always there to answer any of my questions. Best experience EVER! - Dr. Crofts is such a wonderful doctor!!! I was really, really nervous to get liposuction after reading about people's procedures gone wrong with other doctors. Dr. Croft's sat down with me and wanted to know about me as a person, he wanted to know about my goals and my concerns, and then gave his professional advice--I totally trusted him because I knew he had listened to me and he knows his stuff very, very well! Regarding my surgery...I am soooo excited with my results so far (3 weeks out) and I know that he really took his time to get things exactly how he wanted and what he knew I wanted. I like that...a lot! I am amazed at how he created a new look for my body--me...but much, much better (in those rough areas)! Are results permanent?
