Renuvion, previously known as J-Plasma or J-Plasty is a medical device that combines helium plasma and a proprietary radiofrequency (RF) energy to stimulate tissue contraction by carefully heating connective tissues directly beneath the skin. Journey to Confidence
At your consultation, you will be able to discuss questions and review what you would like changed through surgery. Dr Crofts will discuss the details of the procedure and create a surgical plan with you. Our office staff will provide you with a surgery quote and can help schedule a surgery date at that time.
You will have a pre-operative appointment three weeks prior to surgery. At this appointment, you will sign consents, discuss any last minute questions and concerns, and get further pre- and post-surgery instructions.
Your surgery will take place at an accredited facility. This is generally a 1 to 6 hour procedure and you will be released home on the same day.
Generally, you will be seen 1 to 3 days after surgery and again 4 to 5 days later. Further post operative appointments will continue and be dependent upon your recovery.
Patients report minimal discomfort during the recovery process including minor swelling and bruising for 1-2 weeks after the procedure. Patients can expect to return to full activity at 2 weeks. For Renuvion procedures for the face and neck, we recommend wearing a neck band for 2 weeks after the procedure and for an additional week at night only. At Aesthetica, post operative care and safety is our number one priority. We see patients frequently after their procedure to assure healing and recovery is on track. Patients have 24 hour access to an on-call nurse for emergencies.

I recently finished my 3rd treatment of the Femtouch procedure at Aesthetica. I have been SO happy with my results. Prior to the treatment I was struggling with vaginal dryness, lack of sensitivity and urinary incontinence. I could tell a difference even after the first treatment. After about a week I felt like the dryness had already improved. I noticed I was a lot more sensitive and also noticed that I was not dribbling urine AT ALL. I was expecting just improvement of the urinary incontinence but have not had any issues since doing the treatment. I used to wear a pad every day just to help but don't have to do that anymore!! They said I could have intercourse after 3 days but I did feel like 4-5 days was better for me. I had zero pain. It just felt like a mild vibration.
